MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song in 2017. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN as his debut full-length album. It reached the top 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca, which was an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that calendar year Dopamina was his follow-up album. In 2021 he produced an duet with TINI's popular song Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo came from a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father have been musicians. According to him, musicality was a fundamental element of his existence. In his childhood he was instructed to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. Though his original career plan was becoming a veterinarian for animals but his brother Julian encouraged him to start learning to sing with an instructor in Cuban. This changed his entire life.
